| Leading Change (2 Parts) | • Learning to lead in a manner that collaborates with other leaders and frontline staff | • An understanding of the different types of leaders • Which skill sets work best with each • How to know which skills to focus on to build from your strengths |
| Identifying Leadership Learning Needs (2 Parts) | • Learning which traits lead to and/or are consistent with developing strong leadership | • In this module leaders will learn which leadership traits to develop to consistently grow as a leader so as to focus on the most valuable skills/traits to your organization |
| Building Key Leadership Skills (2 Parts) | • We have identified the key skills and traits for good leaders, now we learn how to strengthen and develop those skills | • Building from module 2, learners have (or will) identify their special traits (i.e. what existing or growing personal skills/styles work best for their leadership) • Learn how to further develop those strengths into formidable leadership skills |
| Facing Challenges (2 Parts) | • Preparing to meet challenges in a quickly changing contexts • This course serves as mid course reflection. It also allows participants to evaluate and critique their leadership learning strategies developed in courses 1-5 | • Reflecting on what we have learned so far, learners will get a chance to test out their new leadership capabilities and learn what they have grown, and what still needs growth |
| Leading with Purpose – Part 1 of 5 | • In this five-part series, Pauline will take leaders on a journey of self-discovery with the aim of developing your capacity to Lead with Passion • In this first session, you will start by exploring and reflecting on the current context of your leadership and what is required of you in your leadership role | • Leaders will learn about the contextual factors driving their current leadership behaviours |
| Leading with Purpose – Part 2 of 5 | • In part 2, we continue from where we left off, with the focus moving on to consider your strengths and values and how best to align these with what is required of you and your leadership | • Valuable insight into what matters to you and how to align that with your leadership |
| Leading with Purpose – Part 3 of 5 | • In Part 3, we will consider what it means to ‘Lead with Purpose’ and help you to (re)define your purpose at this stage of your life and leadership journey | • A deeper understanding of your purpose and why it matters for your leadership and those that choose to follow you |
| Leading with Purpose – Part 4 of 5 | • In the penultimate course, we look at transforming that Purpose into Impact that lasts | • A clarity about the impact you’re aiming for, in the long and short term, and what it takes to transform your leadership purpose into actions that will have a lasting impact. |
| Leading with Purpose – Part 5 of 5 | • In the last course, we will consider the importance of a ‘coaching approach’ when Leading with Purpose • We will also review what we have learned, and identify personal commitments to ensure you continue to build your own leadership whilst preparing the next group of leaders within your organization/community | • An opportunity to practice coaching each other before undertaking a review of key activities, and key learning points across the Leading with Purpose series |
